Finding more joy

This was a really great read! Holladay went through each chapter in the book and broke it down scripture per scripture. I purchased the book because of an interest in the book of Philippians and a desire for more joy in my life. I enjoyed reading the book and I feel like I am now I the path to finding joy. I would most certainly recommend this book.

Ok, but not great

There were a few interesting points in this bible study on joy, but it seemed to me to be a bit of a stretch. Holladay is a good writer, and a good theologian, but the book drifts more than I would have liked. In short, I wasn't left feeling joyful at the end. Enlightened a bit, but not so much joyful.
