This author shows us where and how faith is used in scripture, gives you real life examples how to strengthen your faith, and tells you about his and others struggles and successes in receiving salvation, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and healing in all areas of life. This is a meat and potatoes book - solid, scriptural, and each time you read it, you will get another nugget of truth. It cuts away confusion and gets right down to the "heart" of the matter. Excellent and worth while purchase.

Must-read to understand power system dynamics!
The study of power system dynamics is challenging due to the existence of dynamics in different time-scale; for example, governor action in the scale of seconds, rotor flux phenomena in the scale of tenth of a second, stator flux phenomena in the scale of milliseconds. Mathematically speaking these are known as stiff systems. To avoid excessive simulation time or numerical instability due to the stiff nature of the model, in the power engineering community, it is customary to represent power systems by a set of differential-algebraic equations. The authors did an awesome job describing the theory to understand system dynamics and showing how to obtain a proper representation by using integral manifolds. I highly recommend this book to first year graduate degree students, engineers and scientists that have interest in the behavior of the power system.

Then Longenfang realises he needs help because he has lost his Beast, and is sent on a spirit quest into the depths of the Sub-Astral Plane. He is accompanied by Toby and Carla, who each had their own issues to deal with.

Alice stays behind, overjoyed that she is not the centre of attention for once. But then she receives a call from a near-hysterical Janice Cooper, who claims she saw demons roaming the grounds at a party hosted by the Lonely House Foundation. Now Janice possesses the ability to see through glamours and Magick, Alice believes her and goes with her to see what’s going on.

They discover that the Lonely House is actually a conduit to a realm even darker than the Immaterium, containing a trapped demon-god from before the dawn of time itself, a monstrous creature who wants to destroy the entire universe.

This series continues to be interesting, although I am giving this one one less star than the others. I wish Professor Abbacus would have stayed on, and the lonely house plotline was interesting but not quite as exciting as the others.

It is good, with a lot of examples in matlab and c, maybe, it should take more care about the erratas in c code, because there are some errors that can confuse very much when you are developping a project.

Where the included cd-rom?!?! Cheating Publisher!

This book was supposed to come with a cd-rom. It would be a very useful volume with the disc, the one that is supposed to be included. Without the disc, the utility of this book is essentially nil. Judging from the packaging, the lack of a disc was not a mistake. Rather the description of the book on the publisher's website is grossly misleading. Shame!

Do not buy this book or anything else from this publisher, CRC Press, until they clean up their act and stop cheating buyers!
